Viking Cup, Birka
A carefully handmade reproduction of a Viking Age cup in blue-greenish glass.
The original cup was found in grave Bj 750 that is one of the wealthiest graves in Birka, Sweden. The chamber grave was located under a large mound and is dated to the 900s. The cup originated from the Kingdom of the Franks and was most likely brought to Sweden through raiding or trading.
- Based on a historical find from the Viking Age.
- Carefully handmade, and therefore minor variations may occur.
- Holds approx. 25 cl (8.5 US fl. oz)
- Glass height 9.5 cm (3.7 inches), diameter 8.5 cm (3.3 inches)
- Due to the new regulations for US packages shipped from abroad, this product will be subject to checks from FDA, FWS and/or APHIS.
